Most people are forever seeking answers to the question, "How do I to earn extra money on the Internet"?
If every once in a while you try to come up with a new idea to to earn extra money online, you must have already heard about quite a few of existing and popular ones. Everyone considers themselves an expert, or at least a person who knows one. It's nothing but a trick of an online salesman. And they make you think that if you do not know somebody, you will always be a nobody.
Sometimes they tend to be very aggressive in their ways of promoting a service or a product by using many different approaches: live video streaming, webinars, product launches, and joint ventures, etc. The gurus that are selling these products and services are making money hand over fist. The people who buy these products consider them a valuable asset to their belongings and way of life.
You get a lot of information but what you will not be let in on is that several people make huge money on the Internet without contributing anything much. They do not travel anywhere to attend seminars and get to know people. Nobody knows them to enter into joint ventures with them. They just sit at home and click a few links on the computer and see the money roll in.
How is this possible? Affiliate links, Google Adsense, and content.
Let's see how Google Adsense works. Google, being a dominating search engine, desperately needs quality content, the more, the better.
It works better when you website contains a number of pages and links between them, so that search engine spiders can crawl the site and rank each page.
How does it work for you? The answer is: By placing Adsense ads on every page. When a person from your target audience is browsing the content you offer on a webpage, he might notice and click the Adsense links as well. Google pays you a commission from each such banner click. It can be as small as a few pennies, and as large as several dollars.
The best part is they need not necessarily buy anything.They just need to click the link. Each click will generate income for you so the trick is to drive as many people to your website as possible to increase the number of clicks.
Now just some good content is required. Sadly, most of us do not have a flair for writing. If we did, we could write our own content.
One option would be to use articles written by others. Go to any of the popular article directories and you will find thousands of articles. Most can used free of charge as long as you include the resource box with each article. Since you are not promoting your own product, this is a very viable option.
If you do not write your own articles, the reader is likely to get more interested in the person who has written the article and clicks the link in the resource box instead of the Adsense links and you end up making no money at all.
So you go for something known as the Private Label Rights articles. Copy another person's article, edit it a bit and make it your own. The reader will not know the source and will believe you to be the writer.
Another option is to use external links to affiliate sites that pay you commission as well. This way you can do it even when you don't have much to offer yourself.
