Even if you have started using the Internet to generate some income for yourself just recently, you will come across some names often. Webpreneurs create an impression about themselves as experts and as very important people who know other important people. It is similar to a marketing swami clique. You get the feeling that if you do not know somebody, you are worthless.
You must have already heard of audio and video streaming, online seminars, product and service launches, and joint ventures, etc. The swamis that are selling these products and services are making money hand over fist. In all fairness, these products and services are genuine and valuable to the folks who buy them.
But what most of them will not tell you is that there are thousands of people on the Internet making thousands of dollars a month without spending a lot of money. They do not fly to every seminar in the country just to make contacts. They rarely do joint ventures, because frankly, no one knows who they are. They literally sit in front of their computers in their underwear, click a few links, and wait for the money to roll in.
How is this possible? The answer is: Google Adsense, Affiliate links, and content.
For example, let's take a look at Google Adsense. Google is a search engine that loves content, the more you can offer and the higher the quality you can get - the better.
The search engine's bots, also called spiders, periodically crawl the Web, including your multiple page web site, in search for more fresh content, indexing and ranking it.
How does it work for you? By placing Adsense ads on every page. As readers click through your pages, many will also click the Adsense links. If they click on the banner you receive a fee from Google. It can be anywhere from a few cents to several dollars.
Think of ways to make your web site more popular so more people visit it and the likelihood of them clicking the link increases. They need not buy the product advertised. Just clicking the link makes you money.
That's why you need to think about the content first. One can write content of one's own choice and talent. Sometimes, people have others to create content for them.
If you are incapable of writing your own articles, use those written by others. A search will throw up several relevant articles. As long as you are honest enough to include the resource box with each article, you need not even pay for them. This option makes practical sense as you are not promoting your own product.
The major downside to using other peoples articles is that the reader will view them as the expert and likely click the link in the resource box instead of the Adsense links, and you lose money.
However, the best option is Private Label Rights articles. You can apply small changes so that the article will look completely different.
With your article now, you can also create a resource box with links to affiliate programs. So whether they click this link or the Adsense links, you stand to gain and you have managed this without having any product to begin with.
