If you have been trying to to earn extra money on the Internet for even a short while, you have undoubtedly heard quite a few names being thrown about. It seems as if everyone sees themselves as an expert and everyone who is anyone knows everyone else who is someone. It's nothing but a trick of an online salesman. They usually act like you're nobody until you establish yourself in their eyes by getting to know someone important.
Product launches, audio and video streaming, teleseminars, and joint ventures, etc. are quite common. These are spectacular money spinners for the persons selling these products and services. That does not go to say that the products are fake, they are genuine and have good utility value.
You get a lot of information but what you will not be let in on is that several people make huge money on the Internet without contributing anything much. They do not travel anywhere to attend seminars and get to know people. Nobody knows them to enter into joint ventures with them. They just sit at home and click a few links on the computer and see the money roll in.
How do they do it? Affiliate links, Google Adsense, and content.
Take Google Adsense, for instance. Google, being a dominating search engine, desperately needs quality content, the more, the better.
It works better when you website contains a number of pages and links between them, so that search engine spiders can crawl the site and rank each page.
How does this generate income for you? You need to place Adsense ads on each page of your website. While going through your pages, many readers also click on the Adsense links. Every click assures you of a commission from Google. You may earn just a few cents or several dollars at a time.
Your visitors never have to buy anything. It's that simple - just clicking. This is the reason why you need more traffic on your website - the more hits you get, the higher the click rate will be, and the more commission you'll get.
Now just some good content is required. Sadly, most of us do not have a flair for writing. If we did, we could write our own content.
You can also use content on popular subjects written by others. Many popular online directories can serve as a good source for content. Most of it can be used for free if you include the link to the article's source. Since you are not promoting your own product, this is a very viable option.
However, sometimes users will not click on Adsense links, but rather on the referral link to the article's originating website, not earning you a dime.
Go for the Private Label Rights articles. What you can do is edit the other person's article here and there and give it a new identity. The reader thinks you have written it.
You can also include your own resource box with a link to an affiliate program, so whether they click the Adsense links or your affiliate link, you have increased your chances to earn extra money. This allows you to avoid getting involved in the project yourself.
