The Internet community at this point is becoming somewhat familiar about earning money with Google Adsense, but not to a spectacular extent. Having a good working knowledge of Adsense is meaningful as it can help you establish a successful undertaking through Google Adsense (and earning money.)
With the consent of website owner small contextual ads are published which is known as Google Adsense. Publishers that are selling products and/or creating brand awareness create the ads. The ads that are created are called Adwords and they are also a Google sponsored program.
Google Adwords and Adsense operate in parallel. Google gets a predetermined price from the person who created the ad, every time someone who does a search on Google or one of their partner networks clicks on one of the sponsored ads. This is what is known as 'pay per click.'
Now the beauty of Adsense is that the person who owns or hosts the website that the Adwords ads appear on will split the amount of money that Google receives from the creator or publisher of the ad. It is a well guarded secret what the percentage of the split is, and it does vary, but for our purposes let's say it's 50%.
The host of the website that displays the Adsense ad can receive .20 when that ad is clicked, if the publisher is paying .40 in total for the Adwords ad. The remaining .20 belongs to Google. Google and the website owners can therefore be considered partners.
Adsense is shown in the most appropriate manner possible. What does this indicate? Well, let me give an example that probably illustrates it best. Mary had a website, let's say, featuring women's clothing. If Mary wanted to monetize her website with Google Adsense the ads that would be shown would all be related to clothing, and more precisely, women's clothing. If shoes were the central theme in one of the pages of her website, women's shoes would be what the Adsense ads would be for.
So how do we determine the price per click? The Adwords program takes care of this. Adwords publishers bid on keywords. The more lucrative or sought after a keyword is, the more the publisher will be willing to pay for each click. Keywords range anywhere from a few cents to in excess of $50 per click.
Anyone with a website that generates a decent amount of traffic can make some nice money by putting Google Adsense on their website, you don't need rocket science to understand that. With the sole purpose of attracting high paying Adsense ads, many Internet marketers create web sites with specific content. -
