Step 1 Research some keywords for your niche that have a high CPC value. Step 5 Use a keyword check function tool (available on the internet) to get results for the keyword and compare that to the advertisements that are found in step 4. A close match between the advertisers in the result and that of step 4 indicates that you may have a profitable keyword and better income opportunities.
When the advertiser do not use 'Adwords for Content' mode of advertising, the advertisers shown will not be the same. When the keyword is not the basis of the Adsense advertisements, it may turn out to be unprofitable.
Step 6 Finally, you will need to create more traffic. If you decide to get traffic using the Adwords approach, then just use the keywords in your Adsense advertisements that scored well from the above evaluation. Then, use lower cost per click keywords in your Adwords advertisements. You overall profit can be computed by taking the difference of the cost of the click you pay on your Adwords word and the earnings of the click on your Adsense words.
If you are planning to use search engine optimization techniques to get traffic to the website where your advertisements are, make sure the keywords you choose have the highest KEI possible as these are the choicest income opportunities. KEI can be calculated by taking the ratio of the number of searches for a keyword to the number of competing sites having the keyword. -
