All That You Want To Know About Earning Money With Google Adsense.

Most of the Internet marketing community is at least somewhat familiar with earning money through Google Adsense at this point. Google Adsense can be a spectacular venture for earning money for some so having a better understanding of Adsense is worthwhile.

Google Adsense is small contextual ads that are published on web sites with the consent of the site's owner. Once publishers have created the ads, they are used to both sell products and create brand awareness. The ads that are created are called Adwords and they are also a Google sponsored program.

Google Adwords and Adsense go together hand in hand. The person who created the ad pays Google a predetermined price every time someone who does a search on Google or one of their affiliate networks clicks on one of the sponsored ads. This is how the term 'pay per click' came into being.

Now the beauty of Adsense is that the person who owns or hosts the site that the Adwords ads appear on will split the amount of money that Google receives from the creator or publisher of the ad. The size of this percentage split is a secret, but for our calculations we will assume 50%.

If a publisher is willing to pay .40 per click for his Adwords ad, then the host of the website that welcomes Adsense can expect to see roughly .20 every time someone clicks on that ad that appears on their site. The other .20 is kept by Google. So basically it is a partnership of sorts between Google and site owners.

Adsense is shown in the most relevant way possible. How is this achieved? An example will help in illustrating this. Mary has a site featuring women's clothing. If the Google Adsense scheme was deployed on Mary's site, the ads would all revolve around clothing, and in particular women's clothing. An Adsense ad appearing on a particular page dedicated to shoes would also focus on shoes.

By what dynamic is price per click determined? Now is when the equation of Adwords comes in. Adwords publishers bid on keywords. The publisher will be willing to pay more for each click if the keyword is more lucrative or sought after. Sometimes a keyword is in excess of $50 per click or sometimes a few cents per click.

It is simple to see how someone with a high traffic site can generate quite a bit of revenue by teaming up with Google Adsense. Many Internet marketers will create web sites with specific content for the sole purpose of attracting high paying Adsense ads. -
